What is Bio-cellulose
Most sheet masks are fabric. Cotton pulp, woven into cloth, then soaked in essence. The essence sits on top and evaporates while you wear it.
Bio-cellulose isn't woven. It's grown.
Coconut water is fermented, and the microbes in it spin out cellulose fibers — about 20 to 100 nanometers wide, roughly a thousandth the width of a cotton fiber. They grow into one continuous web, not separate threads laid across each other.
That's why it behaves differently. The web has enough surface area to hold around 50 times its own weight in essence. It follows the curve of your face instead of bridging across it. And as water leaves the web, it contracts — which is when it lifts what was sitting on your skin.
It costs several times more than cotton or gel. We use it because D-1 only gets one night.

Why the clock
In KATRI's sheet material test the bio-cellulose was still holding its form at 30 minutes, the end of the test window — the point where it has only just begun to dry down. Everything after that is the sheet contracting.
